We have a new Project in Austin, Texas.
Please find the details below:
SOW:
1. The requirement is to Install the new Access Points side by side with the current ones, then post cut over remove the old ones leaving just the new ones in place.
Old AP's are to be stacked in a place designated by the customer on-site.
Cutover should only require moving a patch lead at the AP end from old to new and moving a patch lead at Controller end again from old to new.
2. Once AP's are live we require an Ekahau Wifi Survey, this will highlight any issues with coverage and up to 15% of the AP's may require to be moved if the survey shows areas with weak coverage.
The movement of the AP will be with the confines of its patch cable, we aren't expecting movement further then say 8 foot of the current location, this will, however, be an additional visit at a later date and also may not be needed if coverage is sufficient.
The no. of AP's: 125 Access Points in Austin (7 Floors)
the Access points can be installed during working hours with just the cutover as out of hours (Due to this taking down the WIFI).
