We need an experienced WordPress developer familiar with PayPal Commerce API who can help us to integrate our multi-vendor store with PayPal Commerce.
Project Scope:
- Analzye PayPal Commerce API and prepare API calls for Multi- Vendor Webstore (1 Order contains products from different vendors. Each vendor needs to receive his money via the PayPal API)
- Integrate PayPal Commerce API as a new class in the WordPress plugin framework of our webshop (we will provide you that)
- Create a settings page in our WordPress Plugin to define all the required input parameters for the API call and manage this payment gateway
- You are responsible that the code adheres to the mentioned Code Quality Standards
- Define various test scenarios to test robustness of PayPal commerce API integration
- Also test if subscription scenario could be processed with PayPal Commerce
- Conduct implementation test on servers with different configurations and by using PayPal Sandbox and Live Server
Code Quality Standards
- Follow WordPress Coding Standards
- Lean code: avoid repetitive code and work with dynamic functions, rather than writing the same code twice
- Clean PHP error log, no warnings, no notices
- Functions are properly separated from frontend file pages and can be used within the plugin
- Add adequate comments to explain what's happening in the code.
- No tipos in functions or variable you use in the code
- Properly tested: No undefined constants, code tested on different servers
- Remove anything which leads to increased file size (e.g. icons in subfolders).
Milestones:
The deliverable is PayPal Commerce API properly integrated in our Plugin for our Webshop
- Milestone 1: Plugin with PayPal Commerce works on Developer's PayPal Sandbox
- Milestone 2: Plugin with PayPal Commerce works on a different server and on our PayPal Sandbox
- Milestone 3: Plugin with PayPal Commerce works on another different server but with live PayPal API credentials
- Milestone 4: Plugin with PayPal Commerce works on our production server with live PayPal API credentials
Requirements:
- You are familiar with PayPal API
- You are familiar and will adhere to WordPress coding standards
- You must have integrated Multi-Vendor Payment Gateways before
- Preference will be given who already is familiar with PayPal Commerce API
- Time management:
o Milestone 1 needs to be completed within 14 days
o Milestone 2-3 needs to be completed within 20 days
o Milestone 4: needs to be completed within 20 to 30 days (should just confirm that the plugin works as required)
We can provide a stage server to test your solution. You need to manage this project on your own and guide us towards completing the goals of this project. If you are interested in this project, please provide credentials with which PayPal Apis you already have worked with.
