We are looking for an experienced iOS developper that can build a solid communication layer using Bluetooth Low Energy with our embedded linux.
The host is a raspberry 0 running a yocto system with bluez (version ?), we're using python3 with bluezero v0.0.6. We use about 20 characteristics. There is a custom authentification system which is already coded on connection / disconnection events, but both the scanning and overall stability of communication has been really poor so far.
Most of the UI and business logic is done or not top priority compared to this, but we could go on with other tasks from there if things are going well.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills who is methodic and thorough and can deliver robust code quickly: deadlines are pretty much behind us already.
Bonus points if you have some general insight about how to properly operate around BLE and dbus, issues can certainly be raised on our end which is under active development also, obviously.
Very much bonus points if you can also deliver that very same peice of software for android systems, the same applies here except the whole app has to be written while on iOS we're pretty close to delivery.
