Required Legal freelancer for Legal Advise - Canadian Municipal Law job

There are 2 charges I am defending: 1) illegal apartment in an R1 zoning 2) Non compliant home based business operating in R1 Zoning.
I will be returning to court this Thursday and need help representing myself. The illegal apartment issue they are giving me more time on; but I plan on pleading not guilty on the second charge and would like advise on how to do so.
I've set up Google Drive with many organized documents, so everything you need to know about the case should be at your fingertips, I can provide links to municipal law documents when required.
In depth knowledge of municipal law is definitely a requirement. I'm not sure what law the charges fall under (criminal etc.) But i need you to know how to defend my position.
