I am looking for an editor who is adept at rewriting legal documents.
I have 6 documents (comprising around 13,500 words in total), which have been sourced from other websites, and seem to cover the legal essentials of the website we're building.
I would like the documents to be edited to be a) free of any risk of plagiarism (this is the most important factor), and b) more friendly and simple to read (this is a nice-to-have, and would help to align to our brand values). Above all, the texts must retain their legal standing, even when simplified.
If you are a meticulous editor or copywriter who believes in making legalese more accessible, I'd love to chat with you. Please be aware that there may be a little back-and-forth as some of the copy is not yet exactly aligned to our business model.
