I'm looking for a logo for my new film production company. The company is called 12Bit Production. 12Bit is a reference to color depth in a camera, which is essentially the number of colors a camera has to interpret the color of light. 8Bit is a normal, average camera, 10Bit is an exponential step up, and 12Bit is an insane, exponential step up and is thus a reference to the highest quality, beautiful film. I also went to Texas A&M and 'the 12th man' is a huge tradition there, so the number 12 is significant to me. 12 also is a significant number in the Christian faith. All of these things played into me choosing the name, just as background.
In light of that, the company is a production house, focused on producing videos for local companies, product marketing, youtube content, testimonials, mission and vision videos, etc. The goal is to produce uplifting, positive, life-giving stories through impactful storytelling.
I have been trying to develop my own logo and have failed, thus it's time to look elsewhere. I'm looking for someone with experience creating logos similar to those i've tagged in the picture below. this designer's instagram channel is called 'adopted' and i want something that would be in line with his work. I just can't get him to respond to any of my requests to create a logo for me! Thus I'm hoping someone else can do something similar! I need an icon that will act as the main square logo for my site and instagram, as well as a longer version that has the name of the company '12Bit Production' in it.
I need someone creative who can help me come up with a concept even. I'm struggling to catch a vision for what the logo could look like. Some pieces that might help.... I use a handheld camera, i fly drones, I have a fascination and loves for mountains, sunrises, the ocean, nature in general, I'd love to have a logo that holds a deeper meaning and acts as a catalyst for great conversation about why i create what I create.
If you happen to be a creator with a working knowledge of the Bible, that would be a perk, but isn't necessary by any means.
Anyways, I hope this is enough to at least get an idea of where I'd like to go with this project! If you're interested, I'd love to see some of your work and get an idea of what it would cost!
