Required Inventory Management freelancer for Long Term Inventory Forecasting and Management Virtual Role for Amazon E-commerce Business job

We are USA based business selling our own custom branded products on Amazon USA. We are in the top 1% of all Amazon sellers and are looking for someone who can help us with Inventory Forecasting and Management among other tasks like product sourcing and supplier communication. Our suppliers are in China and they are continuously sending products to the US and we need to stay in stock. The time commitment will be around 40 hours/wk and you must not be working for any other companies. We offer you competitive pay, incentives, and long term stability. We are a small company so you will become a crucial part of our team.

A very important thing about this position is that you need to have a system for performing inventory predictions and management. We need someone who has an existing system that you can bring into our company, as we cannot train you on this topic. This system can be excel spreadsheets or software or anything else and we will expect you to tell us what is the best way to do this. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with this.

Here's what you'll do:
- #1 priority is to keep products in stock. You will do all calculations regarding inventory forecasting and deciding many units should be sent via sea vs air to stay in stock but also to minimize costs
- Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and product inspection companies on reorders.
- Keep all inventory items organized and up to date in our internal systems
As a small business, we need you to be okay contributing in areas outside your core competency. Training will be provided in these areas. Other tasks may include:
- Find and communicate with new suppliers on Alibaba
- Manage project timelines and communication to ensure all deliverables are completed by deadlines (Includes Internal employees and 3rd parties such as photographers, designers, and suppliers)
- Amazon store management items


Desired Skills/Experience:
- Inventory Planning
- Past Amazon experience is a plus but not required
- Excel

- You like learning and figuring out new things
- You are able to handle many tasks at once
