Assurely's Product Manager role will be the first, post MVP, product hire in a growing, funded startup in the insurance space. You will report directly to the CEO in a multidisciplinary role interacting with Engineering, Business, and Management teams. You will be working in a startup environment, with all the perks and challenges of said environment. You will continue to build-out the first product and material influence additional products in the queue.
The Product Manager position has the ability but not requirement to transition to full-time
Requirements
- Comfortable working day to day alongside an Engineering team, building and owning a Backlog and Roadmap, and facilitating day to day questions
- Comfortable working in early Product stage, working directly with stakeholders to determine roadmap and scope requirements for MVP expansion
- Comfortable proactively working with 3rd parties partners to facilitate business, and coordinating and building solutions for a variety of Operational challenges
Responsibilities
- Partner with CEO and Business to set vision for Product vision
- Own the product roadmap and delivery across multiple platforms
- Create specifications, user stories, wireframes, etc. to convert business requirements into technical guidelines for Engineering
- Work alongside existing Tech Team, evaluate technology infrastructure needs, and hire beginnings of in-house Engineering team
- Work in and and refine modern best practices of Agile processes
