A US Based MSP is seeking an experienced Windows systems administrator to manage internal infrastructure for the company and assist in managing customer networks. This includes a HyperV stack of 5 hosts running about 20 Virtual Servers performing various tasks, the Connectwise family of products for providing support, Veeam and cloudberry for backup and replication, and various other products.
Responsibilities in this role include, ensuring all systems are properly maintained, creating written KBs and procedures for other engineers to follow for specific tasks, remediation of any defects found in the infrastructure, occasional assistance with customer projects, Patch management and anti-virus management for the customer base, ensuring the Connectwise products are updated regularly and that new features are introduced to the team when useful features are added, script creation, ensuring best practices are followed across the customer base.
Requirements for this position include microsoft certification, excellent troubleshooting ability, excellent written communication (English), at least 5 years of experience managing microsoft windows networks, in depth knowledge of power shell, experience with or certification in Connectwise products a big plus. We are looking for a self starter who can work independently and will pursue excellence in all tasks.
This is a full-time position. Hours are flexible. Some overlap with US business hours is required and occasional night work may be required.
