Wordpress site I have already installed the theme need some help with the basic design

I Volunteer at a school that has min to no web presence. I want to rebuild a site to:

to be mobile
to give a lot of information
have a couple of hidden pages or maybe a teacher login to request things
I will provide content
I need 2 menus on the home page and a footer
