We are a small company building a financial product that helps families with young children.
Currently, our software mostly consists of a web-app with an onboarding flow that consists of several forms that need filling out. There are some integrations with external parties that need to be tested thoroughly too.
We need an external, unbiased tester to go through our application's front-end and look for defects or unusual behavior.
The software is in English, we can write the test cases together and we are available at all times for questions.
First, I will hire several testers and let them each access the application and some test cases for 2 hours.
Whoever finds the most defects, or particularly interesting / unusual / edge case defects, we will keep on to regularly test our software (probably several hours every two weeks, as our sprints end).
In a nutshell, a good applicant:
- is fluent in English
- is an experienced manual tester
- is very good at explorative testing
- has experience writing test cases
- knows how to work with Jira
- is available for several hours every week or every two weeks
- can work with us for at least 2-3 months
- has experience working with remote teams using Agile
