Note: We have hired 1 freelancer, but we will keep the job posting open in case we would need to hire more.
We need a front-end developer to help us restructure and reorganize an existing website into a new one. We will be making use of WordPress, so we need someone who is intimately familiar with the platform and everything it has to offer - from themes that can be used, to useful plugins. Most of our website content comes from Wix sites, so familiarity with Wix is also a must.
The focus is more on creating a strong foundation for the website that will make it easier to add on new sections or functions later on.
We ideally want someone who is flexible as we anticipate new website tasks to come in over time. Estimated to be on and off a month of work, with possibility of long-term work.
This job will be paid by the hour. Tracking of hours through the work diary is required.
Bare minimum deliverables:
- Sitemap
- Page wireframes
- Responsive WordPress site with basic website functionality
- Password-protected section of the website
- Blog section of the website
- Documentation for how to update sections of the website
