Need Visual Basic NET skilled programmer, knowledge of MS-SQL. Needs to be a Programmer with good design experience. Multiple Project for Visual Studio. Contract with fix price on delivery.
Job Description
This Project has multiple jobs and phases as the development moves forward.
The first phase, JOB 1. is a small project need to develop a PC based Instrument Control Interface written in Visual Basic Net. The PC software connects via USB. The software is used to program the Part Number and the Serial number into the instrument via the USB port. We provide the human interface written with VB Net in Visual Studio 2010. We also provide the SCPI call that has to be transmitted via dis USB.
(The Ethernet connection is not to develop at this time)
Approximated developing time 15 to 20h
The first phase, JOB 2. is still a relatively small project need to develop a PC based Instrument Control Interface written in Visual Basic Net. For this project, we provide the human interface written with VB Net in Visual Studio 2010. Additional code examples in VB are provided. We also provide code of earlier projects written in C, C++, and Pascal. Some interfacing with our MS-SQL Server is also included in the task.
Approximated developing time 1.5 to 2 weeks
For JOB 2, we have two additional phases planned to be implemented.
For both JOBs of this project, the software code interfaces via a USB to our physical instruments and exchanges SCPI command instructions with the instrument to set and get data. We will provide the SCPI document and the function calls (the implementation of this one is simple).
We will provide the USB driver since there is a special cable that connects between our instruments and the USB port of a PC.
For both projects, we expect the source code and the executable, including a software installation code that can be executed by an operator/software user to install the software.
The software must support: Windows 7, 8 and 10 for PCs.
This project is only for one instrument type. We have multiple different instrument types. We will develop software for all of them over time (near future). Each instrument software (JOB) will be developed in multiple manageable phases. This means there is a chance for a long-term engagement with us.
