We have a unique problem we are trying to solve and we need a Linux network expert to help us finish this task.
Basically the scenario is as follows:
1. We have 29 external WAN IP addresses from the ISP.
2. We have an Zywall ATP500 Firewall appliance that we use for NAT.
3. We have a Linux server behind the firewall.
We need to setup the Linux server with 29 virtual interfaces, each interface connected to a different external IP (or one interface with 29 IPs), so we can route outgoing requests sourced from any of the external IPs.
The NAT is setup so that incoming traffic on any of the IP range gets successfully routed to the server, but we need to be able to get NAT/the server configured so that outgoing requests are successful.
We are setting up a SQUID proxy server that rotates the outgoing IPs across the range, for a web crawler, for context.
The right expert who knows NAT/Linux/etc should be able to help us get this done.
