I am looking for someone with a background in customer service/sales to serve as an offsite contract New Client Intake Coordinator. As set forth in the attached job description, the New Client Intake Coordinator's primary goal is to interview potential new clients (PNCs) to determine whether they have a problem or an opportunity our firm may be in a position to help them with. The New Client Intake Coordinator takes calls directly from the Receptionist (currently, Back Office Betties) and inbound marketing channels and follows a very specific script (allowing for variance based on the conversation, of course) to determine whether (a) to schedule a sales call with our Client Relations Manager aka non-attorney salesperson or (b) to refer the PNC out, based on a set of pre-determined criteria we will provide. The New Client Intake Coordinator's main goals are to:

1) Prescreen PNCs to protect our firm's resources from being expended on PNCs our firm ought not be involved with (per a script we will provide).
2) Ensure everyone who contacts our firm for help is better off for their effort, always being sympathetic to their plight.
3) Ensure the Client Relations Manager is set up for success by gathering pertinent information about the PNC and entering this into an online form in Lexicata, our firm's lead management software (per a script we will provide).
4) If qualified, prepare the PNC for the next steps leading up to the appointment with the Client Relations Manager (per a script we will provide).
5) Document all of the above for the benefit of the Client Relations Manager and kick off the prescribed "Glide Path" system (per a procedure we will provide).

The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker who is confident, articulate, and comfortable representing our firm while emailing and/or speaking with PNCs. The *perfect* candidate has some experience working in a law firm and using Lexicata or another customer relationship management (CRM) application. The New Client Intake Coordinator must be able to show empathy and prepare PNCs for the appointment with the Client Relations Manager; and must be self-motivating and self-directed. Candidates may live in any time zone but should be available between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific.

Candidates who are immediately available, responsive, and who can work quickly preferred. Candidates who are fellow social justice warriors open to potential fulltime employment are also preferred.

A little bit about the firm. We help San Francisco Bay Area tenants forced out of rent-controlled apartments get a fresh start. Our clients are San Francisco Bay Area renters who are experiencing any type of dispute with their landlord. Founded in January 2016, our firm grew 100% between 2016 and 2017 and we are tracking 100% growth again in 2018 over 2017. Our team currently consists of eight people, including six full-time employees and two independent contractors.
