I am interested in starting a non profit business for people who recycle their old phones or donate them and give to those who are less fortunate.

The big question is, can I offer to buy phones from people out there and then resell them for profit? I am just trying to find the spin here to make this work.

Google gives about $10k in advertising ads money for non profits and I want to use that for my advantage.
