We are looking to build a cloud based software solution that will work with most outdoor/indoor cameras to be remotely controlled by mobile devices. This cloud based software platform should be made up of a Micro-service architecture build with Node.js or Java. This Micro-service architecture will provide RESTful request and response CRUD calls to these camera devices that have open accessible API by their manufacture.
The front end of this system will require the development of mobile applications either by using React native to be compatible with all devices. We could build these applications using Swift/iOS and Java/Android to be compatible with each mobile operating system. Below are some bullet items that needs to addressed:
- Integrate with these cameras SDK's
- Receive motion notifications from camera.
- Notifications on/off by day of the week and time.
- Manually/Automatically set world time zone.
- Remotely turn camera on/off/standby.
- Set recording to Cloud/SD card on demand.
- Speed recording or playback (2x/5x/10x/20x/Xx)
- Can replay recording at different time point intervals.
