We are in the process and want to design a knee brace for medical patients and docking system that fits the brace to the leg for the user. Imagine like how Tony Stark fits the Iron Man suit in the films. The final product will have to work so please not too unrealistic. The brace then auto adjusts to fit around the user's leg.
The work has been started by a French firm and while the design and mechanism are brilliant,
the brace design lacks futuristic and innovative style. The dock, however, is fine as it stands. The brace needs to be more minimalistic and organically futuristic. At the moment it is bulky and rugged. Imagery and CAD of the current design can be sent once the contract begins. A list of specification points can also be sent once work begins.
We will start the contract off by starting with a sketched concept 9including all the functional points and mechanical features)
We are looking for professional standards and as we are wanting to eventually finish this as a working prototype in a few months time.
I will share a mood board of the kind of style that we are looking for and the current brace design so you can see for yourself how the current design does not match our vision.
