To manage the production teams, ensuring that products are made to schedule, to the correct quality standards, within standard cost constraints, in a safe working environment.
-Monitor and report factory KPI's and use performance data to drive improvement
-Maintain KPI boards within the key factory areas. Conduct daily (shift) shop floor KPI review meetings with the production team(s).
-Engage with factory managers and supervisors on downtime and waste reduction initiatives in order to achieve "world class" performance in these areas.
- Conduct regular behavioral safety, housekeeping (GMP), and technical audits. Publish audit results and conduct regular performance improvement reviews.
- Attend product taste panels and review customer complaints with the production team
- Attend senior operational management meetings, presenting production KPI's
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly factory performance reports
