Overview:
I'm looking for someone who can help me edit my existing Python/PySide code. I'm making an image browser with some additional searching features. I need help on the visual layout of the QListView's item. I'm not familiar enough with how to use QItemDelegate or QStyledItemDelegate to solve my problem so I'm looking for help.
Current State of code:
- A user can check the QListView item's checkbox in order to 'favorite' the item
- A user can then enable the 'Favorite' checkbox filter to only show favorited items in the listview
- A user can type in the Search field's QLineEdit to filter items in the listview by it's displayRole
Task:
- I want to modify the position of the QListView item's checkbox so it appears in the top left corner.
- It appears this can be achieved by using QStyledItemDelegate which I'm not familiar with.
- Things to keep in mind, users can adjust the slider which resizes the listview item's icon (thumbnail)
Specs:
- I'm using PySide 2.7 on Windows 64 bit
- I wouldn't image this task would take an experience python developer very long to solve
- I look forward to the solution
