This job (potentially very long term for the right candidate) requires the frontend developer to write, update, maintain, and audit frontend ReactJS code for an existing in market application. The developer is expected to translate designs from Zeplin and develop, unit test, and deploy components and entire web apps based on as per needed requirements. The candidate is expected to join the project team and work directly under the instructions of a technical lead and directly with all other team members that include the PM, QA, and other devs.
The workflow with the rest of the development and project team requires a lot of video conferencing. If you cannot participate in video calls daily with other team members, please DO NOT apply! We also only want to work with the BEST, script kiddies need NOT apply!
If you feel you are up to the challenge, then the ideal candidate MUST have:
- Solid skills in React / Redux / SSR / JS (Not React Native, but ReactJS)
- Experience withWebRTC
- Expert at CSS / Styling / HTML
- 3+ Years of experience in Front end development
The candidate should also have:
- Good command of spoken and written English
- In-depth knowledge in JS frameworks and libraries (React, Redux, Router, Webpack, Enzyme)
- Proven experience as a Front End Developer (HTML/CSS/JS)
- Experience with responsive design
- Solid experience of Javascript (ES6)
- Solid understanding and experience with SSR using NextJS
- Proven 2+ years with at least 3-4 projects done with ReactJS
- Extensive knowledge of JS quality and unit testing tools
- Experience and deep understanding of responsive web design, fluid layouts and positioning, browser behavior and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions
- Understanding of HTTP and RESTful services
- Some knowledge and experience with WebRTC is a strong plus
- Experience with PWAs is a strong plus
- Experience with source code management tools (Git/Bitbucket)
- Experience in an agile kanban development environment
Because we work in a fully Agile kanban methodology, the candidate's working timezone should not be too far away from Eastern Standard Timezone as face-to-face and standup calls are critical in our workflow.
