I have ported the C/C++ Linux based software to the point where it compiles the Hantro and OpenMax IL libraries, but am getting low level GPU/VPU issues.
I need someone specifically experienced with the NXP i.MX8 platform with Hantro h/w decoder and OMX IL as this is not a learning experience. The software works on the other prototype platform and I just need some specialized help to work through the issues on the NXP platform.
The specific problem is getting the IL decoder component to transition states from idle -> loaded -> executing. I am able to feed an H.264 video stream to the input port of the decoder component.
I am able to do a zoom video call to do a code walkthrough to describe in detail the problem.
Please include 'I do video decoding in my sleep' in responding to this posting.
Looking forward to hearing from you and working through this problem, which could lead to further work if it goes well.
