Hey there,
we're selling online mainly electronical parts and want to bring our sales forecast up to date.
What we've got:
We got 3 different csv files. One contains the sales of the last 28 days (one column with the item id and one with the date of the sale). One contains our whole stock (including net, physical and reordered stock) and the last one contains an overview with all item specific details (for instance the barcode/upc, manufacturer number, etc.)
Current situation:
We load the 3 csv files into excel and calculate the sales of the next 10 days based on our sales history (which weekday will come, beginning or end of the month, etc.). At the end there is an overview with the stock information and the suggested amount which we should order.
What we need:
We need a quicker and easier way, also we want to integrate a pricelist with our items and 8 of our suppliers (with their prices) so we can compare the prices of each supplier and get a order suggestion for each supplier.
Also we want to detect badly running offers (long time no sale in comparison to the weeks before)
Looking forward to hear some opinion from real experts!
