We are searching for a Temporary Salesforce Administrator to manage the Platform Systems that support the Global Ad Sales Organization. The main system of focus will be Salesforce, creating an overarching process that overlaps with our Sales Revenue Management + Sales Operations teams. This role will work closely with the Sales Ops & Sales teams to execute projects laid out, support the day to day application needs of the org, and document & implement processes to build a strong foundation prior to project end date.
Responsibilities
Create and manage users, profiles, roles and permission sets in Salesforce
Help transition the organization from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience
Customize fields, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards
Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
Assist in data import/export/updates, system customization
Provide day to day end user support and assist users with best practices to improve and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.
Assist with training end users on the use of Salesforce.
Maintain data and system security and integrity in Salesforce
Create training and user documentation, and maintain ongoing documentation processes as business needs evolve or features are added
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop/implement solutions
Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Identify operational weaknesses and help improve processes to keep teams as efficient as possible
Identify and implement short-term solutions while helping define the long-term solution
Help troubleshoot and resolve bugs identified by end users
Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and best practices
Qualifications
Salesforce Administration certification strongly desired
Digital Media experience strongly desired
2+ years experience administering Salesforce required in an environment managing 500+ user accounts
Proficient in Excel, particularly with advanced features like vlookup and pivot tables
Experienced with Data Loader and Dedupe tools
Experience with Apex/Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
Advanced Excel skills (Macro, Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc).
Prior Salesforce Lightning experience preferred
Excellent communicator, with the ability to translate business and technical needs and interact with staff
Detail-oriented, while keeping the bigger picture in mind
Effective problem solver and predictive thinker
Prior experience with event management and project management platforms, a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or MIS
