Required C++,Software Debugging freelancer for Seeking programmer fluent in C++, need code/program code altered job

I have a program that is being used to run my escape rooms that we need transferred to different computer, uploaded to ardunios, and edited to change the ending of our newer room.

I'm not sure how to upload the code. Essentially the game runs in 3 states, running, stopped, and reset. How the game currently works when the correct code is typed in the game stops and the door opens. I need the code edited so that the game continues to run after the correct code is typed in. In short I need it not to switch states the trigger to switch states when the code is typed in can be removed. Instead we will manually switch states.

My budget for this project is 250 dollars. I don't think it should be that difficult however I know that with code things can get messy and have unintended consequences. If you can come down to my Chicago location and meet with me in person I am very open to negotiation depending on how long the work will take and the timeframe needed to get it done.
