I am looking for an experienced webmaster with experience int he following fields
1. Installing SSL certs, and updating sites to https://
2. Assisting with url re-directs to avoid search engine penalties
3. Working on VPS servers and hardening them to limit malware and attacks
4. Working with google webmaster tools to assist with site optimization including web crawling, robot.txt updates etc
5. Providing advice on best practice for security and malware for both websites, and server protection
6. Creating and spinning back up servers, establishing server optimization and creating test and host environments
Bonuses
7. Wordpress experience would be an advantage - installing ithemes plugins for site and back up security
8. Experience with VPNs would be helpful
I'm looking for a long term resource who can be a member of our team when required. Work will be random, so ideally a freelancer who is flexible but a good communicator will be best.
The ideal candidate should have
1. A technical background
2. 7 + years experience in the above tasks
3. Sound communication skills and availability: I am on USA time, you should be the same
4. Have the ability to execute and teach
5. Be looking for a long term commitment and keep up to date with latest technologies
