I'm looking to get an app developed completely from scratch. It's a shopping app that works customer to customer, and allows people to list the product they are selling from a list of products decided by me (this needs to be updated weekly in accordance to new product releases) I don't know if you are familiar with the clothing brand Supreme, but they release products every week and these will be the products each week available to buy and resell on my app.
The app shouldn't really have that many pages, with four main ones,
'Home' where some products are shown and there is a search bar to find others.
'Buy/Sell' this part allows customers to list their highest bids or how much they are selling the product for.
'Orders' where you can see your purchases and sales, this part also needs to allow users to communicate through a chat feature regarding their orders. and
'Account' allowing the username to update their address and see their reviews etc.
The key thing is that the app needs to link with Paypal which allows for them to pay each other. I will share a picture of a few ideas I have had for layout. You'll see on the main page, for the Supreme t-shirt next to the large 'Buy' and 'Sell' icons there needs to be dropdowns so the user can see all available offers of this product from other users, including their review rating and country they are based in. Also dropdowns are required for sizes and colours.
In summary the app needs to have registered users who can freely buy and sell the listed products by the app, it doesn't allow them to take photos or list their own individual items, they then need to by able to pay through paypal and communicate with each other after purchase. It is important that the app refreshes to show the cheapest available price from a user, and needs to be able to deal with high volume of users at peak times all listing products very quickly.
I hope this makes some sense, ask me anything I haven't covered, I'm just after a very approximate estimation of how many hours this kind of thing would take, and I'm looking to begin reasonably quickly if the price is right.
