I need a node.js angular 1.6 (I think) pro to help me out. I'll pay a flat rate for a screen share.
I have a number of services running local in various ISS Application pools. One of these is a front-end app that I invoke as follows...
http-server -a sales.connectinpaydev -p 18443 -c-1 -S -C ssl/server.crt node --inspect=0.0.0.0:9229 server.js
I'm not a deeply-skilled java guy and I'm new to angular, but I get around OK across web stacks and tools. For example, a good bit of this stack is .NET.
I have typically enjoyed intelliJ for the bit of Java work I've done, but I see WebStorm might be better for this angular site component of this system I'm wrestling with.
I have both webstorm and intelliJ installed. I've been reading various instructions for 'javascript' debug and, 'nodejs' debug. I've messed with my 'npm start' line to be both the above example AND 'set PORT=18145 && set SSLPORT=18411 && node --inspect=0.0.0.0:9229 server.js'
When I try the above I CAN get my debugger to attach, but I'm totally confused by the host URL and port instructions relative to my app pool's.
Basically, I want to hit breakpoints in my angular app when I navigate to this web app from what happens to be a .NET web app running local.
I've got myself confused and would love to pay a pro to set me straight.
I bet it would take somebody 5 minutes, which I'll happily pay.
Thanks!
