I am in the mortgage business in USA, New York, Florida, and New Jersey and I am dealing a lot with Realtors who refer us buyers who want to buy residential and commercial real estate (90% residential). Below is what I think I need to do (suggestions appreciated):
- developing and managing facebook, FB, page (not sure my personal or business)
- Connect via facebook with my current and past clients (around 400 ppl)
- get involved with different Realtor's, real estate developers and management groups and companies, attorneys, accountants, financial palnners on Long Island, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and Manahttan. Maybe to New Jersey groups, that is close to New York city (later on)
- get involved with Russian speaking groups to promote my services as a mortgage broker/lender
- post 2-3 time per week some articles and upload videos I record maybe twice/month for my realtors and clients (you can check my Youtube channel)
- develop VIP page for my past clients where business ppl (my past clients) can post their services with 10-15% discount for other past clients to use. For example, HVAC guy can post 15% coupon to use for my past clients, car mechanic, or a jeweler can make a ring with 10% off, something like that (this part can be developed later after we get engaged with my past clients.)
- we can add instagram after we done with FB.
I am not present on FB so I am thinking it's better to have at leasts some presence.
Another idea I have for FB is to promote, for example, mortgages for veterans, VA loans in the same areas, Long Island, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and Manahttan, maybe New Jersey. You can easy identify veterans on FB who live on my target territories and run FB ads. Some true for homeowners who want to refinance their houses, or self-employed ppl who want to buy or refinance houses but they do not show enough income on their tax returns to be qualified for a mortgage with the regular banks, or rehab loans where people want to buy houses that need repairs, or foreign national loans for ppl who wants to buy properties in Manhattan (from Russia, Brazil, Germany, the Middle East and so on). I can research which countries buy the most residential condos and coops in NYC). In Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and other russian speaking countries, people can also use another social media like VKontakte, vk.com, so to engage investors from Russia we can also use this site along with FB (just a thought).
