Project overview:
We're looking for an experienced customer support agent to provide professional and friendly service through our email and live-chat channels via Zendesk support platform. This person should have a passion for helping others and be able to stay calm under pressure.
This project requires:
- Customer support experience in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent writing skills in English
- Zendesk helpdesk software, trouble ticket processing, Shopify
You will be the point of contact for customer support throughout our online stores. Duties may include responding to and processing return requests, monitoring and responding to social media comments and direct messages, tracking orders and following up on delivery status, assisting customers with placing online orders, answering questions about our products and similar duties.
#1 You must use Slack. This is how our company operates and you will be invited to all our software platforms from there to help with support.
#2 You must be available for a 1hr team meeting every single day. This is 100% Mandatory. I like to have open communication with my staff and if we need to conduct a team meeting this is something you must do.
#3 You MUST MUST MUST (very important) have a strong desire to want our company to succeed. If you don't want our company to succeed you will not be hired.
#4 You MUST be resourceful, have initiative, and be self starter. Once you are given the necessary tools and time to learn our systems and processes, you will be expected to solve problems on your own.
#5 You MUST work efficiently. If you do not work efficiently and try to steal from the company you will be fired, reported, and I may dispute the work you have done. It's very simple, Don't lie.
#6 Apply only if you can work on nights and weekends (Central Standard Time). If you can work longer please let me know.
#7 You MUST be at your computer at all times when you are working. I do not like 'breaks'. If you need to get food that's fine. I will not tolerate 1hr breaks ever day. If you are looking to take a break then this job isn't for you.
#8 Prepare to be watched. You will have your computer monitored at all times when working for us. Every single minute. It's a company rule and we are very strict on this.
#9 Be able to speak and type fluent English with no grammatical or usage errors. Being able to understand and hold a conversation with a customer is very extremely important. If you cannot effectively speak with our customers with proper manners you will not work for us long.
#10 If you agree to these rules and terms our company is SUPER fun to work for. Once you move up I will allow you to choose the days of the week you want to work with a little flexibility on the times as well. Starting off, however, we need 7 days per week.
