We would like to hire a creative professional or agency to come up with 10 creative domain names for our business. We are a tech startup in conversational commerce space.
Our criteria for the domain names:
- .com extension should be available (either for outright purchase or bid)
- 5 of the 10 names should be abstract word i.e. not dictionary words. maximum 5 letters. No repeat letters at the end or start.
- remaining 5 should be 2 word combination where each word should be a dictionary word. Must be closely aligned with what the business does (see guidance section below) Allowance for max 1 to 2 letter in either word to be (a) different from dictionary but same sound e.g. flipkart.com or (b) 1 letter to be dropped from either word if common ending and starting , y instead of yy or (c) no loss of sound if dropped, c is dropped from track. Maximum 8 letters
- no negative connotations associated with the proposed names when google search e.g. sin activities
- no app with the same or largely similar name or similar sounding name on the google and apple app stores
Guidance:
- the domain name is for a chat based app to help exporters/importers, service providers/clients etc to negotiate and confirm the terms of the trade/service. The trade/service delivered cross-border nature i.e. buyer and seller are in two different countries. Additional guidance will be provided after hiring.
