Career Aware is Antarang's flagship career guidance program. Through a tightly delivered, intensive 2 week program, CareerAware guides children from the 8th to the 12th standards in making relevant and achievable career plans. Career Aware trainers are thus trained by Antarang to be career guidance counselors through an intensive 5 day training program. The training enables the trainers to become adept at using the Career Aware tool, which is a comprehensive psychometric based tool.
Major responsibilities include:
Operations
• Instill a healthy learning culture where students actively collaborate and take ownership of the program.
• Follow the proprietary curriculum designed by Antarang. Trainers will be trained by Antarang in delivering the curriculum.
• Attend all training programs.
Administration
• Fulfill all reporting requirements.
• Document reports about the progress of students.
Profile Requisites:
• Graduates or pursuing their graduation
• Able to spend 4 hours a day for 2 weeks in a month
• Willing to work late evenings
• Are computer literate and have reasonably proficient excel skills
• Proficient in English and Hindi/Marathi/Urdu
• Patient with a pleasant personality
• Excited about working with adolescents
• Possess good people skills
