The discussion on the CLT is not quite right, and for all intents and purposes, the data does not have to be normally distributed (I am sure you know of reasons to support this claim)- so how can you work around this? Also, rather than simply plotting all the points of the unemployment rate on polarization, please find suitable ways for us to plot/graph and look at the cross section of the data for all the counties in New York state. Its stated in the report that the county level data gives us a 'deeper' look into the New York State demography, yet we do not have any 'deeper' look by means of necessary STATA constructed plots and/or graphs. I expect a do file with all the commands and comments on why you added them, I also expect a word document typed up discussing everything you did to improve this statistical analysis with all the commands and explanations provided. Also, the word document must include all the in-depth analysis explained thoroughly with necessary screenshots from STATA and with any major theories cited using chicago citation formatting. A large bonus will provided given you find and incorporate at least two plausible controls to use for this data set (relating to factors that can influence voter behavior- perhaps education level) however these must be from reliable sources of data sets preferably from US Gov Census data.
