We are looking for a UX/UI Designer who will be responsible for creating great learning environments for Online education. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for all learning, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our branding. You will be working closely with our web development team to ensure a proper and hassle-free implementation. We are looking for creative ideas and innovation to help shepherd and bring education into this new world. The UX/UI Developer will turn our software into easy-to-use, innovative teaching and learning environment. Looking for proactive, self-starting leader having very strong design skills, innovative trends in online design, the ability to clearly sharing ideas with others, self-starter with natural leadership and team-building skills, very strong planning/organizational skills, and financial management/budgeting skills.
Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboard, images, process flows, and sitemaps and present to Online team and SMEs (as needed)
- Develop mock-ups/prototypes that accurately represent and clearly illustrate site functionality, style, look/feel
- Create original graphic designs, understand font/text treatment
- Communicate clearly with full stack developers to understand how to efficiently and effectively produce full online environment
- Develop plans for testing and improving the design of the website from both the learner and administrator points of view
- Maintain the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards
- Work with Developer to note all data analytics that should be pulled from the site
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the Subject Matter Experts, product managers, Marketing team, and Online team to improve MVP
Requirements
- Experience with WordPress, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, JavaScript library, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and experience with node.js and Vue.js a strong plus
