I am looking for somone to help me develop a small web application, preferably using Python, Django/Flask and PostgreSQL, but other technologies are fine as well.
The scope of the first version of the application will be as follows:
- Have a list of tenants (customers) in a database each with their own login. (Can also be hardcoded at beginning)
- Build a 'cronjob' to regularly pull data for each of these tenants from another site using that site's REST API. 'Backup' that data in unchanged way, and also copy a subset of the the data to a structured in the SQL database. Maybe perform some transformations on the data.
- Implement 'cronjob' to send weekly data change/summary to each tenant via e-mail.
- Implement (hard-coded) rules to run on each tenant's data, to trigger e-mail alerts when data has suspicious/unexpected patterns.
Applicants should:
- Not be an agency, but a single person.
- Be available for a few months. (Weekly time spent is very flexible, starting at 8h/week; no deadlines)
- Preferably be fluent in German (not a must)
- Send GitHub profiles or other samples of web application code they have written _personally_
