Looking for experienced developer who has a history of achieving desired results for client. Collaboration and recommendations as a professional who understands customer behaviour in a website is a must. This is a project that will be taken over from current developers who have done a terrible job. I need someone who can and will make a vision a reality by following concepts and ideals, not seeking from me, guidance for the all the minutia of common sense detail. I will provide example sites as to what look, feel, functionality is to be achieved. When I say "re-create that" I am not going to tell you how to do it via every detail. Your job is the how. I can also provide the history of release notes, etc on the site.
Initially the project will be a one off. Get the site completed, tested, and functional. If it is done well, there may be opportunity to continue enhancing as new countries and offerings are brought on. This is a global business, with efforts starting in Australia and USA. SE Asia and EU will be next. I would very much prefer that you also ride motorcycles, as this is a very specific market niche within the industry and understanding of the business model is important. This site is a membership site that will serve riders globally.
I am willing to discuss budget. This is not my first rodeo, so please understand it is my opinion 95% of developers are incapable of delivering a finished product, and charge a fortune to never get you there. I am also unwilling to go on forever paying for work that never gets completed.
