Company is looking for a WordPress Developer to support our development team on-site.

You will be crafting websites using existing tools, creating new tools only when necessary. As a WordPress Developer, you're a master of existing technologies. You're not just a developer but a web designer. You not only care about the coding behind the scenes, but also the resulting user experience.
This role requires a passion for and focus on user-first experiences, conversion marketing, and data-driven design and development. You will work closely with our technical and creative directors, as well as our designers and marketers. A balance between creative and logical thinking with a drive to collaborate and solve problems is required to be successful in this position.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience and proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and responsive design
- Experience and proficiency with WooCommerce store setup, including shipping and payment gateway configurations
- Experience and proficiency using Premium Themes
- Comfortable building custom themes
- Comfortable with PHP, using WordPress hooks, and creating custom post types
- Comfortable using a wide range of WordPress plugins and 3rd party integrations
- Proficient in Adobe Suite and Sketch to optimize images, export project assets, and make basic edits to design files
- Universally CMS savvy (including non-WordPress CMSs)
- Demonstrated ability to fill in gaps in designs while adhering to the original style, take creative direction, and expand on designs for interior pages
Major Responsibilities:
- Work with a multi-functional team to design, build, and deliver robust user experiences.
- Build and maintain services and tools that support our projects and activities.
- Help abstract and streamline our work into maintainable libraries, toolchains, and repeatable processes.
- Break down complicated requirements into clear, actionable tasks that can be estimated and completed.
- Maintain an open-minded, friendly, and positive attitude.
