We're looking for a Wordpress Hosting Expert with expertise in the following areas:
**WP Shared Hosting:**
The hosting platforms are EC2 instances running Amazon Linux that host one or more apps. The candidate must be familiar with the best practices of WP shared hosting in order to guarantee maximal uptime, app limitation (so one app doesn't crash the whole server) and OS monitoring (such as memory, uptime, etc..) that we can integrate into our automation layer.
**PHP & SHELL:**
All the Wordpress sites configurations are pulled from a BLOB storage and configured on the server automatically. There are NO MANUAL DEPLOYMENTS on the server.
The candidate for this job must be familiar with shell scripting in order to understand how the deployment process works. The research conclusions be integrated into the automation layer by our coders. Everything on our systems will be AUTOMATED.
**LetsEncrypt:**
Our services run on HTTPS generated by LetsEncrypt free SSL service. Knowing the best practices of LetsEncrypt and Certbot is an advantage. We are also looking to install Wildcard certificates automatically.
NGINX:
We use Nginx as HTTP server with custom configuration that need to be revised and optimised. The candidate must have deep knowledge of Nginx rules, config, caching (FastCGI, Opcache), plugins, etc..
**AWS & Server-less Architecture:**
Our services are built on top of AWS and uses multiple AWS services such as CloudFront, S3, RDS. There will be no direct interaction with the services, but the candidate must be familiar with the 'server-less' concept as our Wordpress deployments are NOT dependent on the local filesystem.
