We'd like to start making better use of our Zoho Campaign and Zoho CRM modules.
Currently, CRM is used to manage phone calls / note taking and contact management.
Campaigns is NOT used at this time.
What we are doing is developing a series of Webinars. The INVITATION TO REGISTER to the webinar will be sent via email campaign.
Option 1: Once a user clicks 'Register Me!' for the event, they should be taken to a landing page where the user will have their email/first/last (at a minimum, email) PRE-FILLED for the event where they can finish the registration.
Option 2: Once a user clicks 'Register Me!' for the event, they should be auto-registered (since we knew their email to begin with) and a flag in Zoho Campaign (???) should be updated to reflect a) the user registered for Webinar XYZ. Then, an auto-responder will be sent to the user that has a calendar invite to the event.
It would be IDEAL if the user can have a REAL meeting request emailed to them for the webinar event.
I will have the Webinar links/timings already setup an the webinar created in GoToWebinar.
What you'll get to start this job:
- Email address/account for testing
- Access as Administrator to our Zoho Campaign/CRM
- List of 5 sample email addresses and email accounts
You do not have to worry about the email template yet -- just use a basical sample email but the workflow should be accurate and work the way as specified above. We can discuss all aspects of the project regularly but it should not be difficult for a seasoned Zoho/web expert.
