ABOUT ME

Andrew Stark is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who studied at The University of Glasgow, graduating with an MA in Music and Film Studies. Here he received a varied musical education including training in sound engineering, field recording, composition of musique concrète pieces, and practical tuition as well as engaging in theoretical research on the relationship between sound and the moving image. A particular point of interest was the narrative and aesthetic function of sound and music in cinema.

Throughout and following his education Andrew spent over three years working at Lofi & 7 West Studios, a busy recording complex in Glasgow which worked with musicians hailing from a wide variety of musical backgrounds.​

In 2015 he relocated to Berlin to explore the exciting musical possibilities that the city has to offer and since then has composed the scores and designed the sound for theatre pieces, short films, web series’ and documentaries. On top of this he co-founded indie/electronic band Last Days of Elvis.
