ABOUT ME

I describe myself as a Software Developer with a strong focus on quality and creativity. Having spent around 12+ years into Software development, I have gathered experience in several technologies and programming paradigms. Since the start of my career, I have developed software using Java programming language and it is my main programming skill. Apart from Java I have also used Python, GO and java-script for some of the projects. Though I have used Java and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and Struts in most of the projects I always have kept myself updated with the technologies like Spring Boot, Scala, Kafka and such. I’m very keen about bringing innovation using the latest technological tools available today and automating things for a better customer experience and a better return of investment.
For the past 5 years I have been working for a US bank (Fifth Third Bank www.53.com ) in building their consumer applications. I was involved in building a bank branch teller platform starting from the concept definition to requirement gathering to preparing technical specification to design, analysis and building the core framework using java technologies.During this time I got to integrate with various external systems like TSYS (for Credit Cards), FIS (For Anti Money Laundering) and Alogent for Front Image Capture solutions. I also worked on evaluating the readily available products in the market on the same line by preparing a heat map of comparison and convincing the customer about the build option Vs the buy option. I was deployed at on-site to participate in the line-of-business board meetings and concept definition meetings. I was also instrumental in building another huge application for the bank The Financial Needs Assessment which was mainly used by the banker to open account for customers.
I’m very comfortable and effective working with international clients and have demonstrated that by working at on-site in USA for more than a year on multiple occasions and I’m very inclined to work with people from different cultural backgrounds.
