ABOUT ME

AFA (Asian Film Academy, Busan, South Korea) Graduate of 2014, as specialized in Editing. Into the audio-visual media since 2009. After undertaking graduation (honors) and post-graduation (masters) in Related Art&; under the University of Dhaka, she has also completed a 3-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Editing from the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI) of Kolkata, India in 2015 as an ICCR Scholar. She is an Adjunct Faculty in the University of Dhaka. Also Faculty Member of Editing in Bangladesh Cinema and Television Institute (BCTI), Dhaka as well as in Pathshala South Asian Media Institute in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is a regular editor of fictions and documentaries of varied lengths. Her edited short film ‘Part of An Epic’ got National Award in 2018. She directed a 5-minute 1-shot film named Patience in 2014 that got screened and acclaimed in several international festivals in London, Croatia, Dhaka etc. She is also the Editor and a Co-Director of SeeYou which has already visited various film festivals including SAARC International Film Festival of 2019 in Sri Lanka.
