ABOUT ME
Seasoned Financial Management professional with proven expertise in accounting processes, systems oversight, compliance reporting and budgeting with nine(9) year working experience. With my two years experience as a project accountant at Skills Development Fund, I performed the following functions: • Prepare end of year financial reports for external audit purposes as well as budgets for management decisions. • Compile information for external auditors and provide response to audit queries/issues • Report to management regarding the remaining funding available for projects. • Review project/grant files to access fund utilization by grantees • Compile minutes of Steering Committee meetings on grant management issues I also performed the underlisted functions during my seven years with Ahima-Adonteng and Associates as Senior Audit Staff: • Managing payroll and preparing end of year financial reports • Determination and payment of Statutory deductions (VAT, Withholding Tax, P.A.Y.E and SSNIT) on time • File annual Tax returns and advice on tax compliance and payment of statutory deductions. • Prepare Bank reconciliation monthly, quarterly and annually. • In charges of keeping all company account information • Responsible for all bank and cash operations of the company • Responsible for all receivables and payables accounts • Responsible for writing cheques, payment voucher, payment of bills, issuing and receiving of invoices and receipts • In charge of filing of company’s documentation, run daily errands and all other administrative duties • Assisting in audit planning and field audit • Writing of Management letters on Audit issues. • Examine books of accounts and accounting systems of clients
