ABOUT ME
I am a former college instructor for Creative Writing at the University of the Philippines where I also graduated from in 2011 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts of English major in Creative Writing, with Latin honors and the Best Thesis Award. As a creative writer, I have been published in several national anthologies, in an international journal, in the local newspaper, as well as edit a weekly literary insert, attended national writers workshops, as well as organized ones for younger writers in my locality. I want to explore freelance writing as a profession to practice my craft in a more conducive environment. I have worked for several clients from different niches for several years before teaching in the university. My previous jobs are varied as I have been versatile in my skills being that I am quick to learn and very much teachable. I have been a Technical Support Representative in Local Business Processing Outsource Companies in Davao City for several accounts for Webhosting, Hardware and Network troubleshooting accounts. And I have also an experience in news monitoring, transcribing and translating in my job for an international mining company through their office in General Santos City. I have been very versatile in my career; quick to learn, very much teachable, and committed to achieving success in any endeavor and task. More so, I am proactive towards being more competent and always open to improvements, all to get the job done more than what is expected. I am confident that I have a good grasp of the language and how business process outsourcing and off sourcing tasks. I am willing to work on flexible schedules and is very much comfortable with output-based online projects.
