ABOUT ME

My passion is all about creating engaging teaching, learning and assessment resources in the K-12 education sector. My experience spans writing assessments, storyboards, game-based, story-based learning resources, experiential learning resources, simulations/interactives, virtual manipulatives, assessments and teaching guides aligned to different curriculums (Singapore, India, TEKS - Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, IB - PYP, NGSS/Common Core).

My engineering and software background has provided me with complementary skills that empower me to choose the right technical elements in the teaching and learning ecosystem. It also enables me to conceptualize and design collaborative features for Teacher-Student-Parent interaction in Learning Management Systems.

Key Skills:

1. Sourcing/Writing test passages and crafting test questions for use in educational assessments aligned to different curriculums.
2. Writing multiple-choice, selected-response, constructed-response according to the published standards and specifications.
3. Writing rubrics, sample responses and distractor/option rationales for multiple-choice items according to the published standards and specifications.
4. Storyboarding for K-12 digital media production.
5. Writing Interactives, Simulations and Virtual Manipulatives for classroom use/digital media production.
6. Writing game-based and story-based learning resources for classroom use/digital media production.
7. Writing teacher's guides and lesson plans aligned to different curriculums.
8. Design engaging learning experiences for different curriculums.
9. Quickly understand and work with different authoring tools available in the market.
10. Analyze data to interpret learning gaps and create effective intervention to bridge the gaps.
