Remote IT Systems and Network Administrator

● Provide new user orientation to acclimate new employees to the use of the computer
system and network.
● Responsible for quarterly maintenance of operations documentation that supports job
functions performed.
● Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Manager to support
the needs of the organization
What is expected out of you/What do we require from you:
Level 1
Engineer
*Communication: Good communication skill (Verbal and Email). Escalating IT issues to the next level where necessary and keep the user informed on call.
*Windows: Strong knowledge on Windows OS, OS installation and troubleshooting, Fix hardware issues
*Windows Server: Hands-on experience on Windows AD, User account management, Group management, OU structure, Password reset and account unlock,
*Mac: Mac OS installation and troubleshooting, Hardware repair and fixing
*Ubuntu: Ubuntu OS installation and basic troubleshooting
*Networking: Basic Networking knowledge, IP, OSI layer, basic networking commands, Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs, Awareness of Information security policy and
adherence

*Peripherals: Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
*Other skills: Customer-oriented attitude, Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions, Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills, Ability to learn and follow
defined support and root-cause analysis processes, Increasing ability to solve practical problems without assistance and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited information may initially exist.

Level 2 Engineer
*Communication: Excellent communication skill (verbal and Email). Escalating IT issues to the next level where necessary and keep the user informed on call.
*Windows Level 1 skills + PXE boot, MDT, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft patches and service pack update on the system.
*Windows Server Level 1 skills + Strong knowledge on Windows Server 2012, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO, NPS, WSUS,
*Mac: Level 1 skills + JAMF
*Ubuntu: Level 1 skill + Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX based
operating systems including strong CLI skill set, troubleshooting Ubuntu OS.
*Networking Knowledge on Wireless standards, access points, In-depth understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols including switching technologies, routing fundamentals, IP subnetting, routing, firewalling, load balancers, VPN and network design less
