ABOUT ME

I am a backend developer with a passion for reliable, efficient and maintainable systems. With over 15 years of experience, I have gravitated to Go as my language of choice since 2009. I originally come from a background of C/C++/D, with some adventures in Java, C#, PHP and Python.

My focus is to eliminate friction for the customer and the team. This requires a holistic approach, including aspects of system design, devops tools and network architecture. Through my hands-on experience in these areas, I can keep the big picture in mind and multiply the delivered value.

Most recently, I worked mainly on big data and cloud computing projects, where I gained relevant insights on data pipelines and the deployment of solutions with Amazon Web Services. My academic background in networking and IT security complement the versatile profile.
