ABOUT ME
An independent writer, a music journalist, a digital marketer, and so much more. When I was 15, my dream job was to be a journalist, but by the time I started studying Mass communication and Journalism, the field was already dead in my country, so I decided to pave my very own career path. I am an immensely proud self-learner, everything I do, did, or will do, is something I taught myself from scratch. I started blogging and writing professionally when I was 17, then it brought me to social media and digital marketing, so I jumped to that boat too, from a Sales Data Researcher and Marketing Analyst to a Digital Marketing and Content Management Consultant. I am a music geek since my early years, my passion entirely goes to music journalism and archiving a huge amount of music, listening, sorting, and researching every piece of music I got my hands on. I have conducted varies interviews with different artists and film directors, written extensive music analysis pieces and reviews, worked of varies localization projects for well-known music streaming services and mobile apps, writing music editorials and curating playlists. Out of fondness of experimenting as a writer, I keep trying to explore different styles and formats for my long stories, I use storytelling and film techniques, moving between fiction and non-fiction, creating a very wide in-depth narrative, providing a well-defined experimental writing format and style for biographical profile features about artist like David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, and the young aspiring rapper from Egypt, Marwan Pablo. In my free time, I read articles, books, and comics, watch films, TV series, and video essays about technology (yes, I am a Tech geek as well), videos games and writing for cinema, and definitely. I write a lot, but I publish very selectively in selected Arabic music and cultural digital media like: Ma3azef, Manshoor, Al Manassa, Zat Masr.
