ABOUT ME

The past century has thrown open the doors for persistent biotechnological advancement and I wanted to be a part of this exiting race, therefore, soon after obtaining the distinction grades of 84.55% in Secondary School, I opted Biology as my career option. I completed my Ph.D. degree from Botany Department, Rajasthan University. I have very good hands on sophisticated analytical techniques. I had undergone training on recombinant DNA technology at Madurai Kamraj University during my Ph.D.
I have published 15 papers in peer reviewed Journals with IF with a total citation of 185 and H-index 7 and a book chapter in “Springer Protocols”. My best research papers during Ph.D. and after Ph.D. has been published in the Journals of Internationl repute such as Plant Cell, Tissue & Organ Culture (IF – 2.6), Trees-Structre & Function (IF 1.86) and International Journal of Genomics (IF 1.7).
I worked as a Scientific Officer in UGC-UPE programme at Rajasthan University and was also associated with the Central Purchase Committee for E-procurement Rajasthan University. I joined MUJ in July 2014 as an Assistant Professor. Dept. of Biosciences, MUJ, initiated student project scheme in which I guided 2 UG students and published a paper. Right now, I have 3 Ph.D. scholars registered. I also worked as core committee memeber in the DST-INSPIRE (2015, 2017, 2018), MSRC 2017, ICBSC-2018, ICoEVCI-2018 and many other conferences at MUJ.
President MUJ Prof. Sandeep Sancheti awarded Certificate of Excellence for my contributions in MUJ in 2017.
