ABOUT ME

My name is Rutger de Castro and I am seeking an opportunity to become a part of your growing team. I believe that I have all the skills to perform well and get the job done.

I have more than 5 years of experience working in a call centre/outsourcing industry. I have worked as a customer service representative for Tribune Publishing, Iron Mountain, eBay UK and many others. With Tribune Publishing, aside from handling billing concerns and being part of the retention team, I also did technical and digital support for the e-newspaper and news apps. For Iron Mountain, I worked as a tier 2 business to business customer support. That means that I cover almost everything from taking inbound calls, making outbound calls, responding to emails, and doing back office support to our business clients. I have also worked as a mediation officer in eBay UK. My job is to handle cases and disputes of a member to an another which means I function as a judge regarding who wins in a buyer vs seller or seller vs buyer case/dispute.

I also worked as a transcriber at a company called G F Infotech. It was only a part-time job but I excelled in it, overdoing it and exceeding the number of audio files that I need to transcribe.

On the other hand, I also worked as a line cook and a barista at Forest House Bistro, a well-known restaurant here in our country. Working in a food and beverage industry primarily at the bar and in the kitchen environment, it enhances my customer service skills and my ability to work under pressure
